During this journey, you’ll cross the Sahara with a caravan of camels, sleep under the stars, and experience the simple rhythm of nomadic life. The goal of the trek is the Erg Zahar dunes — a protected natural reserve known for its untouched beauty. No infrastructure is allowed here, and reaching it by 4×4 is a challenge, which makes it one of the most remote and pristine areas of the desert.
You’ll learn how to find water and firewood, set up camp, cook over an open fire, read the wind and the sky, and navigate the dunes. It’s an authentic, hands-on desert experience — guided by those who call the Sahara their home.

Meals during the tour include carefully selected dishes prepared from fresh, local ingredients. Each day, participants can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner that combine traditional regional flavors with light, balanced cuisine. This way, your journey becomes not only an adventure but also a culinary experience.
Discover the places where you’ll unwind after a day full of adventure — from wild desert camps to luxurious stays under the stars.

The day starts after breakfast, when the sun is still gentle. You’ll walk for about 2–3 hours in the morning, followed by a long lunch and rest break in the shade. In the afternoon, the caravan continues for another 2–3 hours until reaching the camping spot. Once the camp is set, dinner is prepared over the fire, and the evening is spent under the stars.
Yes — for the 4-day camel trek, a reasonable level of fitness and heat tolerance is recommended. Each day includes 5–6 hours of walking with breaks, across varied desert terrain — from sand and stones to dunes. Nights are spent in wild camps without amenities, making this a challenging but deeply rewarding adventure for those who enjoy movement, simplicity, and immersion in nature.
No problem. The caravan always includes camels carrying luggage, and participants can ride part of the route if they feel tired. The guides set a comfortable pace, plan frequent shade breaks, and ensure everyone’s safety. Since it’s a private trip, the route and timing can be adjusted — just let your guide know if you’d like to rest or shorten the walk.
You’ll sleep in simple wild camps set up by the guides among the dunes. Nights are spent in tents or under the open sky, on comfortable mattresses with warm blankets. There’s no electricity or Wi-Fi, and the toilet is “behind the dune” — just as nomads do.
Toilets during wild camping are basic and natural. You simply choose a private spot behind a dune, away from the camp, and cover the place with sand afterward. The desert offers complete privacy — it’s safe, natural, and traditional, just as desert travelers have done for generations.
