An 11-day journey through southern Morocco, where yoga becomes part of the road – from the High Atlas and palm-filled valleys to camel trekking, wild camping and the vast dunes of the Sahara.
Yoga is woven naturally into this journey – sometimes as an energising start to the day, sometimes as a quiet, restorative practice after travelling, trekking and exploring. Rather than following a rigid schedule, the sessions will adapt to the places we visit and the rhythm of each day.
Morning practices will focus on waking up and mobilising the body, releasing tension and preparing for the day ahead. In the evenings, the practice will become slower and more restorative, combining mindful movement with breathwork, relaxation, yoga nidra and meditation.
No previous yoga experience or particular level of flexibility is needed. The sessions will be adapted to the group, while experienced practitioners will also have space to deepen their practice.
The Sahara will bring a different dimension to yoga – morning practice among the dunes, surrounded by silence and open space, and quiet moments beneath the desert sky. There is no focus on perfect poses or performance. Yoga simply becomes part of the journey: a way to restore energy, slow down between experiences and connect more deeply with the places we travel through.

Meals during the tour include carefully selected dishes prepared from fresh, local ingredients. Each day, participants can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner that combine traditional regional flavors with light, balanced cuisine. This way, your journey becomes not only an adventure but also a culinary experience.
Discover the places where you’ll unwind after a day full of adventure — from wild desert camps to luxurious stays under the stars.

The retreat is designed for people who would like to combine yoga practice with a journey through Morocco and time spent in the Sahara. The programme includes both travelling and several slower days at Desert Camp Chraika, followed by a camel trek, wild camping and a journey deeper into the desert.
November is a great time to travel in southern Morocco. Days are usually warm and sunny, while mornings, evenings and desert nights can be much cooler. Temperatures also vary along the route, especially between the mountains and the Sahara, so layers are essential.
Comfortable, lightweight clothes for warm days and warmer layers for cool mornings and evenings. Comfortable walking shoes, a sun hat, sunglasses and sun protection will be useful, as well as a warm jumper or fleece and a light jacket for desert nights. Comfortable clothes for yoga and a small daypack are also recommended.
The practice will be led by Beata Steć, a therapeutic yoga and meditation teacher and founder of Beata Yoga Harmony. She has over 20 years of experience in yoga and meditation, including years of practising and teaching in India. Her approach combines alignment-based therapeutic yoga with breath awareness, relaxation, yoga nidra and meditation. The practice is accessible to both experienced practitioners and complete beginners, with a focus on listening to the body, conscious movement and finding balance between effort and rest.

Sessions will be adapted to the rhythm of the journey and the needs of the group, with a focus on conscious movement, regeneration and finding balance between effort and rest.
No previous yoga experience is necessary. Beata will adapt the practice to different levels, making it accessible both to experienced practitioners and those trying yoga for the first time.
Yoga will be part of the daily rhythm of the retreat, with sessions adapted to the journey and the needs of the group. Depending on the day, we may practise in the morning or afternoon, at the camp or outdoors in the desert.
Accommodation is in atmospheric riads and carefully selected local guesthouses throughout the journey, combined with stays in desert camps. One night is spent in a private wild camp in the dunes, sleeping in large traditional canvas nomad tents.
It is a private bivouac set up specifically for the group among wild dunes. The guides set up the camp for one night, with large traditional nomadic tents. The evening includes a campfire, tagine cooking and traditional sand bread baked in the hot sand.
The programme combines road travel, yoga and relatively gentle desert walking. The camel caravan section includes approximately two hours of walking to the wild camp.
